Big Brother is failing to keep a close eye on the threat of cyber-terrorism, according to security experts. They say the burden of watching and preparing for a computer-driven attack on critical US infrastructures is falling on the private sector, rather than governments and the military.
“If you ask me if I’m satisfied with federal efforts on this, the answer is not at all,” says Dan Verton, executive editor of Homeland Defense Media in the US and author of Black Ice: The Invisible Threat of Cyber-Terrorism.
