Flight Centre, the travel agency, has figured out how to make its staff happy. And with 20- and 30-somethings a large chunk of its workforce, the answer is training, and - well - partying.
The two are not unconnected. While staff are keen to point to an annual global ball and monthly drinking sessions as two highlights, they also know that they’re not just about fun but part of a highly structured system designed to build and motivate the team.
