Seats conflict signals difficult Senate week

Senate leaders face a chaotic first week back in Washington as they try to untangle protracted disputes over vacant seats in Illinois and Minnesota.

The first flashpoint is set to come on Tuesday when Roland Burris, appointed to fill Barack Obama’s Illinois seat, is expected to show up on Capitol Hill.
