High-flyers take off as the call of charity work gets louder

High-flying baby boomers are increasingly turning their backs on corporate life to seek fresh challenges in charitable work.

Jane Cotton, head of human resources at Oxfam, said she is seeing a marked trend of people moving from the corporate sector from the age of 40 upwards, especially when they have travelled to developing countries and seen poverty first-hand.
