Recession to hit low-skilled workers hard

Low-skilled workers in the West Midlands and northern England will continue to bear the brunt of the recession, says a report by Experian, the financial and economic analyst.

It suggests London and the south-east will lead Britain out of the downturn – although at a slower growth rate than in the past two decades – but traditional manufacturing areas need extra help to recover.
