Ex-Brocade CFO charged in options case

The Securities and Exchange Commission on Friday charged the former chief financial officer of Brocade with fraud for his role in options backdating at the Silicon Valley chipmaker.

The civil charges came two weeks after a US court found Gregory Reyes, Brocade’s former chief executive, guilty of criminal fraud and conspiracy for his role in backdating options grants at the company.
