As the latest crop of university graduates prepare for finals, a large-scale survey from the Berlin-based Trendence Institute presents a detailed insight into the way the class of 2007 ticks when it comes to careers.
A four-month field period saw 44,000 respondents completing an anonymous online questionnaire. Trendence contacted the students through over 100 partner organisations, who invited their members to take part. Incentives such as £1,000, Apple iPods & iBooks and HMV vouchers were offered to complete the 20-minute survey after which data cleaning followed, with Trendence removing responses that may affect the quality of the results.
