Bischoff to be Lloyds chairman

Sir Win Bischoff, the veteran banker, is to become chairman of Lloyds Banking Group despite negative feedback from some institutional investors .

The 67-year-old former Citigroup chairman will take over in mid-September from Sir Victor Blank, who is stepping aside after taking the blame for the takeover of HBOS.
