Billions of pounds could be wiped off the value of commercial property if a high court decision this week goes against some of top landlords, an expert has warned.

A dozen landlords are taking PowerHouse, the electrical retailer, to court for its use of a company voluntary arrangement to avoid paying rent at 32 stores it has closed.
