Hertfordshire school to open international offshoot

Haileybury College will become the latest private school to move into the international franchise business when it opens an offshoot in Kazakhstan next year, the school announced yesterday.

The Hertfordshire independent school said it had struck a deal with a Kazakh-based property development company to open a co-educational school for the children of wealthy Kazakhs in the booming city of Almaty.
