Greece is teeing up to follow Spain and Turkey in developing golf tourism as a way to extend the tourist season and attract more high spending visitors.

Faced with intensifying competition from Asia and Australia, traditional Mediterranean sun and sea resorts have come under pressure to diversify their tourist products.
