Business hails Poland’s Civic Platform win

Foreign leaders and Poland’s business community on Monday welcomed the victory of the liberal Civic Platform party in Sunday’s parliamentary elections, predicting the revival of contacts iced up under the previous government and the restart of much-delayed economic reforms.

“I think the most important thing is a return to dialogue. That was frozen under the past government,” said Henryka Bochniarz, head of the Polish Private Employers Confederation.
