I hate my life. I’m stuck staring at this computer on a Saturday afternoon with the weather looking beautiful outside. There’s this humongous pink clock labelled “Financial Times” sitting on my desk, tick-tocking the seconds away. Shut up, clock!
My irritable behaviour reminds me of something Warren Buffett once said to me. Well, he said it to me and 40,000 other people at the 2003 Berkshire Hathaway annual meeting. But I feel like he said it to me because he was looking straight at me, although it was hard to tell because I was sitting in around the 1,000th row of the enormous stadium where the meeting was held.
