Siemens board suffers new scandal blow

Siemens on Wednesday lost another member of its management board to the bribery scandal that has decimated the ranks of senior executives at Europe’s largest engineering group and cost it more than a billion euros.

Erich Reinhardt, head of the company’s healthcare sector since 1994 and a management board member for seven years, will resign at the end of the month after further slush funds were found in the German conglomerate’s medical technology businesses.
