Qantas admitted its criminal role in a global conspiracy to fix air cargo charges. The Australian flag carrier, has agreed to pay $61m fine to the US department of justice.

The admission of guilt by Qantas follows similar guilty pleas by British Airways and Korean Air in August, when each carrier was fined $300m by the DoJ for their roles in conspiracies to fix the prices of both passenger and cargo flights.
