Last October, US Banker magazine held a gala dinner at New York’s Pierre hotel to celebrate its ranking of the top 25 women in American banking.

It was a good night for Citigroup. Its executives Ellen Alemany and Joyce Phillips both made the top 25 while Faith Massingale was named “one of the 25 women to watch”.
