UBM plans tax move to Ireland

United Business Media is to become the latest UK multinational to move to Ireland for tax purposes, increasing pressure on the Treasury to address its treatment of foreign profits.

The events organiser and professional publisher confirmed on Monday that it was planning to follow groups such as Experian, Hiscox, Invesco, Omega, Shell and Shire in changing jurisdiction.
