Fashion for eating out has yet to be sated

Sir Terence Conran's decision to sell his stake in D&D London, estimated to be worth more than £100m, has raised concerns that the London restaurant boom may have peaked.

Restaurants have been opening in the capital three times faster than they were 15 years ago, with a record 158 opening in the 12 months to August, according to the most recent Harden's London Restaurant Guide.
