Investors might add a little Spice to their portfolios

Investors suffering in the gloom swirling round the markets at the moment might like to add a little Spice to their portfolios.

Spice is one of the rare companies that follows the path envisaged by the founders of Aim back in 1995. The company, which provides services for utilities, joined the junior market in August 2004 with a share price of 115p and a market capitalisation of £52m. Later that year it raised a further £15m at 214p for an acquisition.
