If one of the season’s remaining subplots is Lawrence Dallaglio’s pursuit of a last Guinness Premiership final with Wasps, others equally deserving are quitting the stage in less exalted surroundings.
While this weekend’s games will decide the play-off places, Dallaglio’s long-time England back row compadre, Richard Hill, winner of 71 caps, leaves the game today in the incongruous surroundings of the national hockey stadium in Milton Keynes because of Saracens’ temporary exile from Watford.
