Tax windfalls for Brits who sold their place in the Spanish sun

Property owners in Spain have had a tough time of it in recent years.

House prices have fallen by as much as 20 per cent in some areas of the country and, now, the strengthening euro has turned Spain into an increasingly expensive place to live for those who still receive their income in sterling.
