DoCoMo to revamp pricing model

NTT DoCoMo is set to cut calling fees and revamp its pricing model to win back mobile phone subscribers who have defected to rival operators.

Japan’s leading mobile phone operator on Friday reported a 21 per cent decline in first-half operating profit after losing subscribers to Softbank, the mobile phone upstart, and KDDI, Japan’s second-biggest company.
