Icahn sues Motorola to obtain documents

Carl Icahn, the billionaire Wall Street investor, sued Motorola Monday, seeking access to board and other documents prepared by the struggling mobile phone maker as part of his proxy battle to win four seats on the company’s board.

The documents he is seeking include any board and committee minutes and documents related to the service and selection of Motorola’s senior officers, and the prospects or strategy of Motorola’s mobile devices business.
