Durán puts trust in Carrefour name

It has been a long time coming but Carrefour finally bit the bullet on Wednesday and announced a two-year programme to rebrand its 1,021 Champion stores as Carrefour Market.

Not a big deal on the face of it, but for the French group – the world’s second-biggest retailer after Wal-Mart of the US – the importance of its home market cannot be underestimated.
