The term “face value” originally referred to currency, indicated by the number on a bank note or coin. In the UK, we add extra credibility by including the face of one of the most respected people in the world, Her Majesty the Queen. It is fitting, therefore, that a new report on the importance of your personal and business reputation, Face Value, has been published by the Queen’s own bank, Coutts.

Or rather, it is widely believed that the Queen banks at Coutts, though nobody at the bank would either confirm or deny this.
