Journalists condemn expulsion by Russia

Journalists' groups yesterday condemned the expulsion of an investigative journalist from Russia in the latest clampdown on independent media in the country.

Natalia Morar, a Moldovan who worked for Russia's small independent New Times magazine, said she was turned away by immigration authorities at a Moscow airport and told she had been banned from the country by the FSB, successor to the KGB.
