MPs worry over Turner’s twin role

Concerns that Adair Turner, the former CBI chief, may end up juggling two demanding jobs were raised by MPs on Wednesday, following the Financial Times’ disclosure that the government’s environmental tsar is favourite to chair the Financial Services Authority.

Lord Turner is keen to keep his part-time job chairing the committee on climate change if he is chosen to replace Sir Callum McCarthy at the FSA.
