Ban Ki-moon considers trip to N Korea

Ban Ki-moon, the United Nations secretary general, is considering a trip to North Korea to build on momentum created by Pyongyang’s disclosures last week regarding its nuclear activities.

Such a visit would likely be a viewed as a welcome, if symbolic, step in efforts to engage Kim Jong-il’s regime diplomatically after years of isolation.
