BMI expands in Middle East

BMI British Midland is undertaking the biggest expansion in its history with the launch at the end of October of 17 new routes to the Middle East, central Asia and Africa.

The new medium-haul network has resulted from the acquisition earlier this year of BMed, formerly British Mediterranean, which operated the routes as a franchise carrier for British Airways in BA livery.
