Premier to relaunch Hovis

Premier Foods is to bring back the “little brown loaf” as part of its £15m-plus plan to rejuvenate the Hovis brand acquired as part of the RHM takeover last year.

The relaunch will see a return to the “emotional” style of advertising campaign used in the 1970s which showed a boy pushing a bike up a cobbled street to emphasise the wholesome qualities of the brand.
