FPI drops plan to float in Dubai

Future Pipe Industries has pulled its initial public offering on the Dubai International Financial Exchange, citing “poor market conditions”.

Owned by the Lebanese Makhzoumi family, the Dubai-based company had planned to raise at least $420m by selling 35 per cent of its shares on the emirate’s international bourse, part of the Dubai International Financial Centre.
