Citigroup in management shake-up

Chuck Prince, chief executive of Citigroup, on Thursday night announced a management shake-up, including the departure of two senior executives, after Citi lost $3.3bn in the credit market turmoil.

Tom Maheras, who ran all Citi’s capital markets operations, is leaving and Vikram Pandit is being promoted to run all of its institutional businesses.
