Europe's business backs tax harmony, says poll

Big business across Europe strongly supports a controversial proposal to create a pan-European corporate tax system, a survey suggests.

Nearly 80 per cent of the large companies surveyed backed the European Commission's idea of a harmonised corporate tax base designed to take tax obstacles out of the single market.
