Investors irked by Air Berlin

Air Berlin, Europe's third-largest low-cost airline, yesterday irked investors by issuing a profit warning a week after it denied one was imminent, sending shares to a year-low.

The German carrier said a weather-induced slump in air travel in April, May and June had hit the airline's bottom line in the second quarter.
