Monument XX, a huge painting that covers one end of the Travelex boardroom, had great meaning to its creator, John Holden, judging from the wordy explanation next to it.

But Lloyd Dorfman, the company’s founder and chairman, bought the piece because its blue-and-red colouring matched Travelex’s logo.
