Trendspotter: Trolleytastic

Abandoned shopping trolleys and bathtubs have been a common sight in canals and rivers everywhere but now a company has come up with a way to take discarded objects and turn them into furniture.

The designers at UK-based company Reestore have been transforming what some would consider to be “no longer of any use” into fully functioning household goods. But the fact that they are made from recycled objects does not detract from the beauty of the design. Reestore’s creative director Max McMurdo, says: “Environmental consideration should never have to compromise the aesthetics and desirability of a product.”
