Few golfers will come under closer scrutiny than Ireland’s Padraig Harrington as he prepares to defend his Open title next month.

Harrington triumphed at Carnoustie last year, becoming the first European winner of a major since 1999. Yet he enters the relaunched European Open at The London Club in Kent next week with questions surrounding his form and strategy.
