Kazakh miners slide on threat of export duty

Shares in Kazakhstan-based mining companies Kazakhmys and Eurasian Natural Resources Corp dropped on Friday after the Kazakh government said it was considering imposing an export duty on metals.

Kazakhmys dropped 110p, or 6.4 per cent, to £16.10, while ENRC fell 57p, or 4.5 per cent, to £12.15.
