Paths less trodden

Perhaps tourists have had their fill of the well-trodden trail in Dubai. You sun yourself on the beach, hit the mall, but most of the items in the shops are on sale at home – for the same price.

No doubt another hotel brunch or buffet dinner is on offer, but the same limp vegetables and overcooked chicken fail to impress. For excitement you go wadi-bashing around Dubai’s modest dunes, followed by a Bedouin campfire with inauthentic Lebanese belly dancers.
