Iraq to dominate Bush and Brown dialogue

Gordon Brown, the UK prime minister, yesterday sought to play down trans-atlantic tensions over British troop withdrawals from Iraq ahead of an informal dinner with George W. Bush, the US president.

Mr Bush, on what is expected to be his final visit to the UK as the US leader, had earlier said there "should be no definitive timetable" for the pull-out.
