Lord Jacob Rothschild has strengthened his family investment trust by appointing one of London’s most senior hedge fund managers and Oxford University’s chief investment officer to the board.

Ian Wace, co-founder of Marshall Wace, and Sandra Robertson, CIO of Oxford’s £900m endowment fund, will become non-executive directors of RIT Capital, joining a roster of financiers at the fund, which is popular with private investors.
