Tesco's most prominent female executives were out in force on a balmy evening midweek for a 5km run round Battersea Park. Setting the pace for Cancer Research was ambitious Tesco.com boss Laura Wade-Gery , who ran the race in 20.49 minutes - and barely broke sweat. She was joined at the after-party by her husband and Blythe , her 18-month-old lurcher.
Wearing her trademark pearls, and a peacock-blue streak in her hair, legal and corporate affairs boss Lucy Neville-Rolfe was less zippy. She finished in slightly less than 50 minutes - and that was only because she ran the last 500m in order to beat her personal worst.
