Plantic to decide on polymer plant

Aim-listed Plantic Technologies will decide by the middle of the year whether to build a biopolymer plant in eastern Europe.

Brendan Morris, the new chief executive, said capacity in Europe would eliminate sea freight, which accounts for 12 per cent of sales costs in Europe, the key target in the $1bn (£507m) market for bioplastics.
