What is remarkable about Dubai is not just that the city is growing so fast but that it is a real centre of creative activity. I have visited some of the many galleries and saw how much is going on and how much the whole region is engaged in a new level of creativity. That makes it especially pleasing that Word into Art is there at this moment. I think it is the first time that an exhibition has gone straight from a European museum and been presented in exactly the same form in the Gulf.
