Canadian electronic music producer Joel “Deadmau5” Zimmerman has taken the unusual step of pre-empting bad reviews for his latest album by attacking it himself.
It was, in his words, “slapped together”, a rushed job done to pay “mad bills”. But Zimmerman, who has spoken about his struggles with depression, is his own worst critic in this case.
