China to push forward with rural reforms

China’s Communist Party indicated its intention to push forward with rural reforms at the end of a secretive four-day conclave on Sunday but stopped short of announcing any details of much-anticipated land reforms.

”We will push forward the rural reform. We will continue to emancipate the mind,” the Party said in a communiqué issued on Sunday night in the name of the country’s top leaders.
