A small cap fund manager of my acquaintance said he found last week’s look at the Sisyphean task of expanding small companies rather depressing.
Not wishing to induce such a mood as the season of goodwill approaches, I will kick off this week with a tale of a specialist engineering company that has grown from a sub-£3m micro-cap to a business with a market valuation of more than £50m in just over two years.
