Punters are still flocking to 888

Mortgage headaches and bigger household bills may be forcing people into thriftier habits but punters are still flocking to try their luck at 888 Holdings, the online gambling group.

The Gibraltar-based company saw net revenue rise 38 per cent during the first quarter of this year to $64m (£32.4m), driven primarily by a strong performance from its casino and bingo games divisions.
