Scientists urge Bush not to use veto power

Scientists around the world are hoping US President George W. Bush will not veto the expansion of stem cell research.

“Millions of patients across the world could suffer” and international collaboration would become even more difficult if a presidential veto succeeded, Britain’s national academy of sciences, the Royal Society, warned on Tuesday.
