Bupa’s growth to slow down in second half

Bupa, the health and social care provider, on Tuesday warned growth would be slower in the second half as it reported a 47 per cent rise in its interim pre-taxsurplus.

Sales for the six months to June rose 10 per cent to £2.1bn (£1.8bn). The surplus before taxation rose from £112.8m to £166m.
